Storyline
Elara Voss was thrown into a volcano as a sacrifice, betrayed by her sister Mara and her fiancé Alpha Damon. When she wakes at 18 on the eve of the same ritual with every memory intact, she laughs, grabs the same white dress, and walks barefoot toward the mountain to offer herself to the Dragon King. This time she isn't the victim—she's the one starting the fire. But can she split the mountain, break the seven chains, and make the pack kneel before the dark god she's promised herself to?

Elara wakes gasping in her old bedroom, sees the white sacrifice dress, and laughs as she realizes she's back on the eve of her death. She walks barefoot to the volcano, offers herself to the Dragon King, and the mountain answers.
Elara steps to the edge and tells Kael she knows his name, his seven chains, and who put them there. Kael materializes behind her, furious and intrigued, and drags her into the lair. When the pack tries to take her back, she publicly denounces Damon and Kael marks her as his consort.
In the Binding Crypt, Serian tests Elara's blood on the seven chains, and the first chain cracks. Mara tries to poison the ritual wine; Elara, remembering her past death, swaps the cups. Mara collapses and is dragged out as a second chain breaks and a spectral dragon declares Elara the Unbound Queen.
