This Cookie Policy explains how DramaShort uses cookies and similar technologies on dramashort.io. Read it together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Session cookies are deleted when you close the browser; persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them. First-party cookies are set by DramaShort; third-party cookies are set by other domains, such as our advertising partners.

2. Similar technologies

We also use local storage in your browser to remember your watch history, your "My List", your unlocked episodes and an anonymous session id. Advertising partners may use pixels, web beacons and SDK identifiers that work like cookies.

3. Why we use them

• Strictly necessary — deliver encrypted video securely, prevent abuse and hotlinking, balance load, and remember your choices (including the site look assigned to your visit). These cannot be switched off without breaking the Service.
• Functional — remember progress, unlocks and saved dramas on your device.
• Analytics — count views and understand how the Service is used, in aggregate.
• Advertising — serve, limit the frequency of, and measure ads, including rewarded ads that unlock episodes, and personalize ads where you have allowed it.

4. Third-party cookies

Google and its partners (for example via Google Ad Manager, AdSense and DoubleClick) set cookies to serve and measure ads. Cloudflare may set a security cookie to protect the Service from malicious traffic. These third parties process data under their own privacy policies; see Google advertising technologies.

5. How to manage cookies

• Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies and site data (Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge all offer this). Clearing site data also removes your watch history and unlocks.
• Manage personalized Google ads at Google Ad Settings, or opt out of many vendors at aboutads.info/choices and youronlinechoices.eu.
• Where a consent banner is displayed (for example in the EEA and UK), you can accept, reject or customize non-essential cookies and change your mind at any time.

Blocking cookies does not stop ads from appearing; ads may simply be less relevant.
