Elara and Cassian are run off the road by rogues, but Elara's alpha aura forces them to submit; she captures one who reveals Ivy hired them and recognizes she is Roderick's daughter.

Elara uncovers the truth: Roderick killed her mother and sent Ivy to finish the bloodline. She confronts Ivy; Kane overhears and realizes he was a pawn.

As Roderick's rogues attack Blackwood pack territory, Elara withholds aid until Kane publicly begs. He does, but she turns away, not yet satisfied.

In a remote lodge, Elara is bound but learns from her mother's locket that a hidden vault key can destroy Roderick's claim; Cassian and Marcus track her.

A council hearing ensues; Roderick claims the old contract, Elara presents annulment and Cassian invokes fated mate law; council rules in her favor, but Roderick attempts a coup.

Elara fully embraces her alpha power, turns the rogues to her side, and is recognized as Alpha of Silvermoon; Roderick is captured by council guards.

Elara roots out a spy feeding info to Roderick using a false tip; she exposes him publicly and learns Roderick has hidden a moonstone seal that can strip an alpha of their pack.

Elara enters the underground vault and finds the moonstone seal; she discovers it can only work if she has no fated mate. Alarms trigger—rogues have found her.

A skirmish in the vault ends with Elara capturing a rogue who reveals Roderick's plan to use the seal at the full moon ceremony; Kane offers intel for a pardon, but Elara refuses.
