The Dragon Emperor's Regret Is Not My Problem

Lyra bargains with Riven, the dragon lord who once secretly aided her in her past life, and successfully binds him using the mark, but the binding sends a magical shockwave that alerts Emperor Kaelus to her existence.

Lyra arrives at the capital and bargains with Kaelus: release her family and she will consider his offer, but she secretly uses the encounter to learn his weakness—a curse that only a dragon-binding mark can stabilize.

Lyra pretends to cooperate with Kaelus while secretly investigating Corvin, discovering that the advisor orchestrated the execution of her past family to cover his treasonous alliance with a rival kingdom.
